This year I wanted to do something different during this special night.
As my Perseids session barely lasted three hours due to clouds.... I decided to continue with the couple posing done weeks before in another night session.
Taking advantage of the two meteors (almost the only ones that my camera managed to capture) and the Milky Way tracked from the Peneda-Geres National Park..... I made this nice composition with my partner.

A great composite! And a bit scary, knowing the brightness of milky way nights and the direction of the meteors.
My try of persides was similar to yours: almost none, but aircrafts in the sky. What counts for me is the seeing the stars on the sky. Each time I am overwhelmed by their beauty...
