Northern lights

long exposure of northern lights at enniscrone ireland
I saw the green glow out my back window and realized the lights were firing.
Grabbed camera and tripod and headed to enniscrone, figuring there might be a shot
In the 15 minutes or so it took me to get there they had calmed down, but I figured what the hey and set up
I was completely guessing the exposure but 5 minutes seemed to work best
I froze as i took the shots because I was just back from warmer climes and had forgotten how cold the atlantic shore can be in ireland at midnight
Note to self, open sandals and shorts are not suitable clothes for shooting at night in Ireland
