This was a promotional shoot for Sarah Higgins, she is a local Bass tutor and is in a number of bands.
She required some simple headshots and shots of her bass guitars, but I thought I'd give her something creative that incorporated all of these elements.
Lighting: Bowens strobe key light - camera left

Lens: Tamron 28-75mm
I had to have the bass guitar positioned right next to me with the light on its highest intensity to enable the reflection on the guitar.
Editing: I sharpened the reflection and used the dodge tool to to bring out the guitar even more.
I then cleaned up the other lens and then cleaned the skin and applied a B&W filter with a warming filter to add an interesting tone.
