Part one of 6 part series,

It's terrifying and confusing when you find yourself lost with no recollection of how you got where you are. Not even a haze of memory. And having nobody around doesn't help. The only company you have is the deafening din of haphazard thoughts in your head.

But, once that confusion wears off, you start to familiarise and learn to tune in to your surroundings and you tame the thoughts. It gives you a sort of clarity. Well, you don't have a constant stream of inane, distracting social media updates. No advertising forced on you. Just you and nature, and that allows you to focus on the most important task: surviving.
