I took this series of photos of my fiance this past weekend. This is perhaps my favorite of them. I used a very simple setup. I closed the other blinds in the room, moved her close to the one remaining window and positioned her at the edge of the light to feather it on her face a bit. It gave a very nice and flattering low key side light.
