This shoot actually proved, its not always that you need the best of photo gears but sometimes YOU DO need to get your image from good enough to above the line kind of picture.
Let me explain,I was planning this shoot from a very long time. Reason for the delay was either searching for the model / model in her busy schedules or it would be me, because of other reasons - SLEEPING SO MUCH !!.
I was in a mindset that, once I have this shoot scheduled and fixed ,I'll have my third party ex-flash to light the subject,ambient light in the photograph etc & a couple of technical stuff.
Once we arrived at the location,we lite the candles. I was trying a few shots and noticed the results of not using any ex-flash was better than using one.
1.May be because I dont have any in dept knowledge of blending ex-flash with ambient light. OR
2.Not having any light modifiers on the ex-flash. OR
3.Tried bouncing the flash off ceiling but it was killing the ambient light and somehow it was looking so much artificial.
This photograph is a result of high ISO - which led to a good looking photograph but a grainy (NOISE) one.
Time for me to collect some bucks for a portable light setup and a couple of light modifiers,May be I am stupid but I would love to try it.
