This was from the first session with this basic wine glass. After experimenting with red, green, purple and blue LEDs, I decided that white gave the best effect.
The wine glass was placed on a stool on which was draped my black T-Shirt, once manual focus had been found, the lights were turned off in the kitchen and the white LED was introduced during a 5 second exposure.
I wanted the light to bend through the glass in the most interesting way with clear and unclutted loops of light - so simple but effective and great fun too...
