Faceless

As part of my growth this year I am completing a weekly challenge and this portrait was the result of faceless portrait. I wanted a different perspective versus the standard backview that I have seen for faceless portraits. I just found my husband's grandfather's bible and had been wanting to capture this in a photograph. I used Lightroom for basic edits and added some layers in Photoshop to highlight his hands. I wanted this portrait to be intimate and nothing more intimate than praying.
