Re processed version
I shot a few series and started feeling quite comfortable even with huge waves that day. I got really close to this piece of ice and was waiting for approaching waves when suddenly one of them snuck up on me from the side and exploded against the piece of ice, hit my face and camera as well.
It could have been the end of my d800e and lens but luckily Nikon and Carl Zeiss make good products ;)
I ran back to safer grounds, wiped off all the salty water from the gear and was surprised to see it was still working...so I went back for more!
