Part of series; "Souls of Stump Lake" taken at Snoqualmie Pass in Washington. Minor edits and taken at sunrise. The tears were just as I found it. The area is an reservoir that was established about 1917 and feeds in to the Yakima Valley in the spring. These 6-9+ foot tall stumps are only accessible mid summer to late fall. For the rest of the year they are usually under snow or water from November/December until July/Aug when the water level drops enough to walk/camp around these incredible stumps.
