Virtue of Patience

A good friend asked me to come shoot down in Philly after being on a medical hiatus that sidelined me for 6 months.. This left me with zero motivation to do anything photography...

This shot took tons of patience for the smoke to sit just right. This was an abandoned walkway between two buildings with lots of broken windows. The air flow caused the smoke to be pulled towards the sides or the walkway which in turn created the dramatic background you see in the image. After seeing how the smoke reacted in our tests, I sat patiently waiting and waiting for it to be just right. I applaud Karla for bearing with me while we waited for the shot. I'd say it worked out.

Had an awesome shoot and time and so glad to be back doing what I love... My passion for photography has never been more fueled than it is now...
