Pollera Conga Princess

This portrait depics the rich and colourful dresses used by the Polleras Congas during the 3er Annual Festival celebrated in Portobelo, Province of Colón in Panamá. The Polleras Congas are one of the black ethnic community most important symbols of their traditions, mainly of their Congo dances, which depicts their struggles when they were slaves of the spanish conquers during colonialism.
