Photograph (composite) taken in Brooklyn Township Pennsylvania. Brooklyn was formed from the south part of Bridgewater Township in April 1814. Originally called Waterford Township, it was renamed Hop Bottom Township in 1823 and finally Brooklyn Township in 1825 (Susquehanna County). Dairy farming used to be the mainstay in this area of Pennsylvania but, it is now a center of natural gas production.
