Album cover concept for Bradford Loomis' next solo record. I had hiked Iron Goat Trail with my kids and came across the fabulous snow shed walls hailing from the days when trains traversed that route. Since that day I had imagined this concept yet had little time to pursue personal work. When my husband and I began brainstorming for his next solo album's artwork, the idea from this hike exploded in my mind! My daughter and I hiked to find the right spot and shot for an hour to get what I needed with hikers going. She's a fabulous model and let me keep her hair in a twisted, tight bun for a week to get the wild-child, nearly dreadlocked look I wanted. The dress is from the Goodwill and the lantern from my time living in Saudi Arabia.
