After booking tickets to head to the Top of the Rock, Manhattan clouded over and the rain started to fall. Disappointed, but not unswayed, my friend and I persevered and headed up anyway. We were lucky. As we reached the top, the cloud and the rain moved off and we got one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen. With the sky still blue from the day and the sun setting off to the west, the mix of colours resulted in on of my favourite pictures I've ever taken.
