I'd always fantasized about Istanbul while growing up, and when I finally visited, it did not disappoint. The history, the food, the architecture, the culture, the people -- everything is a sensory overload. I stood at this spot for almost an hour, just trying to take in all the places that my travels have taken me. A passing airplane overhead captured that feeling of going off on new adventures perfectly.
