Fiestas Patrias 2014 Hermosillo Sonora

September 16th celebrates Independence day in Mexico. A day of celebration, fiesta, and good old fireworks. The image shows the fireworks at my hometown in Hermosillo, the capital of the state of Sonora. The building lighted in purple is the Cathedral and the buildings in front are the government buildings for the city and state government.
