I've always had issues with my weight. I come from a family that didn't value good nutrition and exercise. (They worked in fields and didn't have to worry about eating more calories than they burned.) I've always had a hard time taking off my shirt at the pool or at the beach. This summer, I learned to swim and learned that no one gives a damn about what I look like. Then all the swimming, running, and cycling started taking away the weight and giving me more definition here and there. On this trip, I trip this selfie with my iPhone 7 and realized that I don't have as much of a double chin as I used to have, and that there is some definition to my shoulders. And I was with a group of friends who let me be me, and be comfortable without a shirt.
I posted this to Instagram and used the app to get this black-and-white tint.
