They say that you should never work with kids or animals. The exception to that rule is our Bernese mountain dog Iso, which in my unbiased opinion is the kindest and patient thing ever to walk on this earth.
I got tasked with making this years christmas card. I wanted to do something in the style of the old oil paintings by Rembrandt.
The photo is lit with a single giant silver westcott umbrella camera right. In order to create that hazy feeling I used a shitload of smoke which I fanned out in order to create a mist. A tip I got from the talented Easton Chang.
