Here is a early sunrise image from Noosa Beach, National Park in Sunshine Coast, Australia.
Elaine my girlfriend and I hiked along this national park early in the morning to catch the sunrise. I have always found it quite unorthodox to catch the sun over the ocean in the morning, because I was born and raised from Western Australia.
This picture was actually taken as a last image from a series of other images of the national park. I was originally not going to get this photograph because at this stage I was getting tired and hungry for breakfast. I remembered being a bit moody because I wasn't 100% satisfied with the sunrise from Dolphin point, the original location from where I wanted to shoot.
There was nothing special about the landscape setup here; a Full Frame DSLR and a wide angle zoom and Tripod.
I attribute the final post in this image to Nik Collections - Color Efex Pro. The use of Pro Contrast, tonal contrast and sunlight warming filter made this image the way you see it today.
This image ended up being one of 2 images I chose to print on canvas to have in my house.
