Mo's firm hired me to make an image for an ad announcing he had reached a settlement on behalf of a client who was killed by an exploding airbag. They originally wanted just a standard headshot, but I pitched them an idea for something a little more creative that would stand out from the typical imagery in the publications that would be running the ad.
The device on the table is what actually sits in your steering wheel and essentially explodes to propel the airbag out. We printed out images from the actual accident their client was a victim of. I wasn't necessarily a fan of using the images of the bloody airbag, but they felt like it was important. What are you going to do?
Boomed and gridded a beauty dish overhead for the key light, had a large Buff silver PLM directly behind me for fill, a gridded light on the table with the photos, then a final light behind Mo elevated high and gridded to add a little separation on the sofa/shoulders/head.
