Yosemite National Park (Winter)

I shot this at probably the most popular vista point when driving into the park. The official name is "Tunnel view", because immediately exiting the longest tunnel you pass through, you are greeted with crowds of tourist trying to take the same picture. This point offers an all inclusive overview of the park's most popular characteristics.

I took this a couple days after one of the biggest storms to hit the park at around 6:19pm. The floor of the walk area had iced over, so it was a big struggle to walk and find a place to set up.

My inspiration of this photo was thanks to the Macbook stock photos. I had recently bought my very first macbook after having windows all my life (I haven't crossed to the dark side, only used it for my gain ;D). I thought to myself, "I want to create something that competes with the sharpness and beauty you find on apple products. I want to show myself as well as others that I can create magnificent photos that could be printed on large canvas.

A single picture taken with no filter or sun shade.
