The Dreaded Bath

Pretty much every horse hates getting their faces washed. Some enjoy the water but hate the spray of the nozzle. Cal was just 'okay' with it. This is just a photo of a daily practice of a horseback rider after a long ride. It's never been about jumping on and riding and throwing your horse back in the stall, you've gotta care more. Washing away sweat, wiping down your gear, picking feet, checking legs, brushing, bathing. It's a labor of love.
