As a city boy, 'unreal' isn't even close to describing witnessing the milky way and Southern Lights together.
As I sat in the dark admiring the rise of the milky way with a new found friend, William from Canada, something decided to surprise us in the still of the night. A faint glow on the right of us, but I couldn't quite make it out as my eyes were a little blinded by my camera's LCD. As soon as our eyes adjusted, we saw streaks of light jumping around on the horizon. What on earth are we witnessing?
I let my camera do the job, I didn't bother to find another composition, as I was in exclamation throughout the period till the Aurora decided to go home. Such is nature... I find myself sitting there and breathing in all of the amazement...
awesome combination :D
