Scarlett Lily Beetle caries a drop of water on its back. Heading out to run some errands spotted this beetle and some mating pairs on my Lilies. Native to Europe the Scarlett Lily Beetle found its way to North America by hitching a ride on imported Lily Bulbs. Looking closely you can see to the lower right of the beetle where they have been eating the leaves. Got some iPhone photos then ran back in for the DSLR. Shot with canon 60d 70-250 kit lens, and edited in Lightroom mobile.
