"I won't ever be your cornerstone."

This lyric from the song of the same name as the photo's title--"Pyro" was written by Kings of Leon and was the inspiration behind this photo. I had listened to this song numerous times and looked into the world for its embodiment. Depicted, one can see the chair standing alone next to a factory window with empty dishes at the foot. This photo is a metaphor for the dynamic of hope. The photo speaks of both hope and hopelessness, where the dishes sit afoot the chair waiting to be plated with someone/something, not simply food. Further, the open window represents the openness of the heart.
