The Palouse area of eastern Washington state is known for it's rolling hills and brilliantly colored fields. The landscape here is truly remarkable. You'd think that would make it easy to get amazing photographs but it is actually a very challenging place to achieve the compositions you're looking for. I drove for days exploring possibilities and so hopefully this view across a lush green field with storms rolling by captures the spirit of this place.
