This shot of my Black Lab Tuffy at Metate Arch in Utah is a composite, but it is not faked. Tuffy sat patiently for me in that spot for several failed attempts. I only noted the amazing shadow from her head when I began processing the image. This photo, which is my first ever IG post on June 27, 2017, was awarded the @roycebairphoto Nightscaper Photo Award, and has since received more than 30,000 likes across IG.
