Luck would have it

Traveling around Turkey by bus is an experience in itself...
One trip we arrived in Cappadocia at 4am greeted by no one! Dumped in a car park like a maccas wrapper. Not having a smart phone or map of the place it truly was lonely and a slightly scary. Fortunately a business owner was opening up his store close by and invited us in. He let us sit in his office, where it was warm, and gave us some tea to help with that as well. The kind man rang the hotel we were staying at and had them pick us up.
So when we decided we would take a hot-air balloon ride over the rocky terrains of Cappadocia it was only natural to return to the man and book through his company. In a way returning the favour with business...

Riding a hot-air balloon is one of the most surreal experiences i've ever had. Floating through the air in a basket with not a sound is incredible.
