I was trying out something with Gels.
I used 2 speedlights, one was mounted to an umbrella with blue gel on it at the left hand side of the camera, and the second was bare flash with no gels at the right hand side of the camera. the power were set somewhere between 1/128 and 1/64 to be able to shoot at wider aperture.
here is the tricky part; I thought that the gel is perfect Blue, so I changed the white balance and pushed the Kelvin way too high around 9000 in order to get relatively balanced white. But what I got what I expected about the warm background but the speedlight with the gel gave me this teal look, not white as I expected. after some trial and error, I figured out it is all about the color intensity of the gel itself.
I tried to reverse the process putting Orange gel and pushing the Kelvin all the way down to approximately 3000 and it worked.

btw, the location is indoor and the plants are fake
