Water Dancer

I thought these photos were toast when I got home to look at them. I had this vision that just didn't make it to the screen. The water was too high, the ground was too muddy, the light was too dim with smoke...it just didn't work. The sky ended up the same muddy color as the water. Instead of throwing away the images, I had to rethink my vision to create something out of what I thought was nothing. In the end, I was able to create something simple, elegant, and beautiful.
