Sunset at Smith Rock State Park.
This area is truly unbelievable and frankly it is difficult not to find a stunning composition every 50 paces or so. This one was shot two days before the total solar eclipse after doing a bit scouting for a wide-angle eclipse shot.
This was shot and composited from images taken at 3 different times of day:
Image 1: a few hours before the sun set to get nice lighting on the rock face
Image 2 f/22 in the last few minutes of the sun being visible for the sunstar and flare
Image 3: a few minutes after sunset when the sky came alive
