Has some exciting aspects to it. The reflection is awesome. The boats are nice. The contrast between the lake and the beach is nice. Would suggest cutting out the tree on the left side and maybe take out the sky?
The boats bring an interesting element, would it be better if they where facing into the photo instead of sideways - I think that would have lifted it a lot.
Since you say the lake is local I am sure you can revisit it and then see if you can lift the composition.
