Upside-Down Stars

This image was photographed in a Washington lake at sunset. The reflection is natural and I instructed the model to flip her hair so as to achieve the impression that she is perhaps upside-down. There were some bugs lit up on the water in the original shot, but I wanted to exaggerate those bugs, so I used another shot of bugs I had taken on a lake from a kayak a month prior during sunrise and layered the image over the original one. The result created a look of stars on the water to increase the upside-down concept.
