Golden Meadow, LA

This picture was taken off of highway-1 in Golden Meadow, LA. From the miles and miles of yellow-gold marsh grass, it is easy to see where the town gets its name. Golden Meadow is a gateway to the Gulf of Mexico, and serves as an important town between the major port cities and the massive oil industry. On one side of the highway there are old power lines mirrored by the larger, newer ones on the other side. To me, this is and example of how there is constant improvement to keep up with the innovations of civilization.
