Suffocating light

This image was taken in the late afternoon in Western Australia's South West. The times i like to shoot are early morning and late afternoon due to the obvious light.
For those who don't know much about wave photography, shooting water is a whole lot more involved more than just photography, its wave knowledge, its physically demanding, and has to be carefully planned out with tides, swell, crowds and obviously favourable weather.
The success rate for a great capture is realistically quite small in comparison to almost every other form of photography due to such a large number of odds against you. Even when all the above comes together things like positioning in turbulent water become very tricky.
But when things do work out it is very rewarding.

This photo was taken with my Canon 7D, 15mm fisheye and Aquatech housing.
