I was in Kyoto at Nanzen-ji and I noticed a spot of light beyond the temple. I liked the expanse of autumn color so I decide to go wide, using my 16mm. I sat for awhile waiting for people to move through, (I was wanting an empty walkway), when all of a sudden, this woman in a kimono wandered into the picture. It was only a second or two until she turned away and other people wandered into the frame. I would have preferred a different lens if I had the time, but happy that I was able to get this with such a wide lens.
