This is Taipei 101. Guess where it’s located. Yep you guess it. Taipei. But why is it called 101? Great question. 100 is a very auspicious number and gives the feeling of a big number. The committee in charge decided, well 100 floors is pretty good, but let’s take it a step higher and make it 101. This took things to the next level and the rest is history.
