Dam Wall

Derwent Reservoir is one of the dams used by the famous "Dam Busters" during their training runs prior to the actual mission during WW2.

The day this was taken was very over cast and dull. It never really got light all day. However, the water was just spilling over the wall and the contrast of the white falling water, dark stones and still collection pond made for an interesting composition.

Taken with a Fuji XT-2, 50-140mm, F5.6, 25 second exposure using a 10 stop filter.
