During the blue moon in 2014 I wandered around late at night. The moon had decided to play hide & seek. She won, I could not find her.
However, what I did find was something I don't think I'll ever encounter again.
I was attracted tot the electric fence wire because of its colors. As I took position to shoot the wire, a moth landed on it and as I took my shot(s) she laid her eggs right there, right in front of me! I could see the eggs coming out of her. It was an amazing experience to see and to get it on camera.
A true SURPRISE!!
