mafra - windows 18

This an inside view of the The Palace of Mafra (Palácio de Mafra), a monumental Baroque and Neoclassical palace-monastery located in Mafra, Portugal, about 28 kilometres from Lisbon. The construction began in 1717 and was concluded in 1755. The palace was classified as a National Monument in 1910, and was also one of the finalists of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. This view is usually unaccessible as it is part of the interior that is closed to the public.
