The Essence of Existence

This was created entirely in camera using some creative lighting techniques. I used a piece of paper that I cut (very carefully) as a flag to achieve the silhouette of a fetus. The flower petals are azaleas which represent femininity. This image is part of a series exploring the female experience of reproduction.
