This morning I thought it would be a good idea to go stand in the ocean for an hour or so, despite it still being 35°F... a full month into "spring." Fortunately, I wore my thick socks and didn't dunk my camera in the surf. I'm also glad I stuck around until the sun broke relatively high over the horizon – the bright oranges in the highlights contrast really well with the cool blues that remained in the shadows when compared to my shots from earlier in the morning that were almost entirely cool blue tones.
