This 'Caspian Plover' was enjoying the 'me' time!

On the Western Coast of India, beaches in Maharashtra state are more serene, clean and scenic than those are in the neighbouring touristy Goa.
On such empty Guhagar beach, I enjoy chasing the tiny crabs, listen to the music of waves or just watch these tiny birds called Caspian Plover.
As per the name their origin is around the Caspian Sea and they are found in abundance in Western Asia. They are usually seen in a group of 4 to 5, however, they prefer to search for a food in isolation. When there is no threat around they prefer walking on the sand in continuous search for insects, tiny crabs. When I see them I always think about a plane ready for taking off. As soon as you start following one of these birds, they slowly increase their walking speed and finally they take off. It is a sight to watch. This photo was made in the noon when absolutely no one was around.
