Caught in the shadows

A friend asked me to crack a couple of shots out of her as she was in town for a few days. It was miserable outside so I opted to light this portrait with a bare bulb flash positioned outside the window fired through it to create a nice pattern on the wall. I chose a monochrome finish as I felt it best suited the image.
