Periyar River

This is from the periyar wildlife sanctuary, Kerala, India. One need to walk approx 5km through the dense forest to reach this place. Permission and security, necessary from the forest department. Your group (max 5) with two guides and a security will be the only people around others than some elephants, leopards, baison, tigers, bears, wild dogs, lots of birds, insects, etc.
