Because I was born in a Roman Village in Switzerland I felt that I had to revisit the topic and make a story of my own after 28 years.
Together with a reenactment group we made a series of pictures by taking historical accuracy and adding my visual style to it. Everything seen on the picture is 100% accurate and handmade. The time and passion the groups spends to truly understand the life within the Roman empire is the most extraordinary fact about the whole project.
