This shot was done at the Heritage house hotel in Hyannis Massachusetts. It was shot on the balcony on one of them cold snowy New England nights. The gown is from Boston designer Maryanne Meservey. I wanted to do something amazing and different. Something that people will stop and admire for a min or two.
Lighting this was a bit challenging as it was freezing out but i used one of my yonguno speedlight combined with and alienbee 800 from paul c buff shooting threw and umbrella I really wanted some beautiful hard light again i wanted a really dramatic edgy and beautiful shot again something that just makes you pause for a min. I used the string lights for decoration but what bugs me the most about this shot is that little bit of snow missing on the railing i feel that it being missing throws off the whole shot being as I personally feel thats where the attention is.
