Long Exposure photograph taken at a natural swimming pool in Seixal, Madeira Island.
It's really a "wonderful" place, especially when the sea is very calm. But if you ask any of the people of Seixal if they've ever gone to swim there, they'd most definitely say "no!"
That's because many people have died here, even when the sea is like this! Tidal waves come in every once in a while and if you're distracted or too close to the edge, they pull you out towards the ocean and.. do you see those spiky rocks there on the right side of the photo? That's what's waiting down there.
This place is called Mata Sete, which means "kills seven", but from what I've heard, it should be called kills 20 or so by now.
It's probably haunted, i did hear some weird whispering at one point...
(also, an octopus grabbed the leg of my tripod, it was in the water. it ran away when i took my phone out to take a pic :( )
