The coastal landscape you see in this image is part of Corrubedo`s Natural Park ( 1 of 6 Natural Parks ,Galicia has to offer) situated in NE of Spain. This protected area of 9000 acres ,declared natural park in 1992 has a lot to offer, from its majestic and iconic dune to its expansive wetlands, and beautiful beaches, hosts many floral and faunistic endemisms and migratory birds. But due to poor management and lack of proper conservation plans and enforcement the park`s iconic geomorphological such as these dunes are in serious danger of disappearing forever from future generations to come. With my image I intend to give the Galician people a different view of our landscape and natural resources contributing to the conservation effort and thus preserving our hidden treasures.
